There are several ways we identify a child or family in need. Anyone can refer a child/family to our organization using our online form. We are also made aware of children/families from other organizations, schools, hospitals and churches.

-How does Fosters Foundation raise funds?
As a private, nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of others to raise our funds. We do this through special events, individual giving, places of worship, associations and corporations.

- Is my contribution tax deductible?
Yes. Fosters Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Financial contributions may be deductible for federal income tax purposes. We suggest you consult with your financial advisor to determine the extent of tax deductibility. Please view our Publications page to download the appropriate forms.

- How will my donation make a difference?
Your donation allows Fosters Foundation to provide the necessary programs, activities and relief for the children and families that we serve. We do not rely on federal or local funding, so your donation is vital to the existence of our programs. Your donations will provide funding for research, educational programs, out reach, our camp, our future vacation village, and our families wish list. Wish list items includes: wheelchairs, tumble forms, special needs toys, therapy items, adjustable beds, medical equipment, etc.
